We pick up our hire car and drive down to see my cousin Paul, his wife Kristen and their kids just outside Charlotte.
They take us to their favourite grocery store which is essentially a very large wine/beer store with its own bar. Yes its own bar. You can walk in, order a pint of beer and drink it whilst walking around the store. AMAZING!!!
So then onto Charlotte’s own Nascar track for their Christmas lights. Unlike anything i’d seen before you drive around the track watching and listening to a fantastic music and lights show. Definitely got us into the Christmas spirit!
